About Celer
Celer is a reading app for people who lose the line on a page. A highlight moves along just ahead of you as you read, so your eye always has something to follow. Your own EPUB and PDF books, on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Who makes it
Celer is made by Mobile Craft MB, an independent studio. We shipped the first version in 2022 and have updated it on a regular release schedule ever since.
Why focus became the point
We did not set out to build an app for ADHD. Celer began as a speed reading tool, and the highlight was there to pull your eye along faster.
The readers who stayed were not asking for speed. They were people with ADHD and dyslexia, describing the same day: rereading a paragraph four times, losing the line halfway across it, finishing a chapter with nothing retained. So we followed them, and focus is what the app is built around now.
