How it helps

The Schulte table is a classic speed reading drill and a simple focus and attention game. Keeping your eyes on the centre helps you take in more of the grid at once. Some call this peripheral vision training. It is the same skill you use to follow a line without losing your place.

Start on a small grid and move up a size as your times drop. Gains tend to stay close to the game itself. Play one table as a short warm-up before reading.
