Schulte table
Pick 8, 16, 24, 35, 48 or 60 numbers, then tap them in order as fast as you can. There is no time limit. Your time and misses show at the end of the table. Keeping your eyes on the centre helps you take in more of the grid at once.
- Under 3 min
Word search
Spot words hidden in a grid of random letters and cross each one out. Scanning row by row practises the steady eye movement that keeps you on the right line. There is no time limit.

Letter stack
Spell words of 5, 6 or 7 letters from a pile of 36 stacked tiles, using only the tiles on top. Fewer hints, higher score.

FAQ
How do focus games help?
Reading asks your eyes and your attention to work together for minutes at a time. Each game practises one part of that job. The Schulte table practises steady, wide focus and quick visual search. The word search practises scanning line by line. The letter stack practises holding letters in mind while you plan a word.
Do the gains carry over to reading?
Gains from games like these tend to stay close to the game itself. Use them as a short warm-up before reading, not as a replacement for medical care.
Are these focus games free?
Yes. They are free and run in your browser on phone and desktop.
What is a Schulte table?
A grid of 8, 16, 24, 35, 48 or 60 numbers in random order. You find and tap them in order as fast as you can. It practises visual search and steady attention.
What is a word search?
A grid of random letters with words hidden in it. On 4 ways, words run across, down or diagonally. On 8 ways they can also run backwards. You find each word and mark it from its first letter to its last. It practises steady scanning.
What is a letter stack?
A pile of 36 stacked letter tiles. You pick a word length of 5, 6 or 7 letters and spell seven 5-letter, six 6-letter or five 7-letter words, in order, using only the tiles on top. A hint marks the next tile, and each hint lowers your score.
How long does a game take?
1 to 6 minutes. Bigger grids and longer words take longer, and there is no time limit.
